Money not retuned. If a merchant fails to send the item, you can post feedback, BUT merchants can retaliate, smearing the customer. eBay does absolutely noting unless you pay $20 to SquareTrade for mediation. I was forced to pay money to clear my own reputation. Experienced customers take the loss, as not to have their reputations smeared. Overall Rating

I am disappointed in my ebay tranactions. As a buyer I've been burnt twice. Some of the sellers pick up merchandise as seconds and sell them as brand new. The casserole dish I just bought was scratched. A memory foam pillow I once purchased had black mold inside the cover and the foam was cracked. It wasn't a second, it was a used pillow sold as new. You can't complain or else the seller will give you a bad feedback. It's a no win situation for a buyer. Overall Rating

EBay experience will vary, depending on who you are buying from. Relatively large (by EBay standards) suprlus liquidation companies with over a thousand deals and no or little negative feedback are usually good, but individual sellers who only have to sell a couple of items and do not care about feedback may be problematic. Overall, eBay buyers need to know the prices including shipping and ask sellers the right questions about their merchandise. Overall Rating

Ebay.com is one of the greatest markets on the internet. Sometimes you'll find the best deals, sometimes you'll find the worst deals. But it's up to you to figure out if the seller is legitmate, just like with any seller. Just take a look at someone's feedback, if it's 99% good feedback, then they're a good seller. Check an items description to see if the seller does offer support and if you're comfortable with it, then that's the perfect auction for you. Overall Rating

I have purchased two separate items through EBay - both times I was extremely impressed with the speed and ease with which I received the items I bought. Overall Rating

Great place to shop!! You have to be savvy to the prices and bidding process to be successful. Check shipping costs closely. I have saved $1000's over the past few years. Overall Rating

I had a positive experience - I bought Plantronics headphones through an eBay Seller and was very happy with the experience. It was clear as day I was buying from an eBay merchant. Disclosed properly on both sites. PriceGrabber and eBay. Overall Rating

eBay is a terrible place for business. They do not have live phone support and all problematic emails are met with the same prerecorded response. They allow people to get away with ripping others off, and, in fact they rip people off themselves. Apperently they have 2000 employees (Annual Report, 2002) but there is not one customer service person. Get lost, eBay, and Pricegrabber: find new ways of making money. Overall Rating

I would have to use all my fingers and toes to count the number of times I have been screwed on eBay. They don't belong on pricegrabber, they are not a merchant, they are an intermediary for sometimes unscrupulous people trying to rip consumers off. Overall Rating

I use Ebay and like it, but it has no business being included in the pricegrabber price list. Although the pricing sounds good, it is an online auction and you never really know the reputation of the dealer you are buying from like you do from the regular online businesses. It is also impossible to compare prices because until the item reaches it's final time the price could, and usually does go up! Overall Rating

I've always used eBay in conjunction with PriceGrabber when finding the best price -- it's very convenient to have eBay pricing available in a single pass. Overall Rating

I am an unsatisfied customer and will not make another purchase from Ebay.com. I was overcharged on the shipping and despite the fact that I was promised a new item, when I received it and examined the item, I noticed that the box had been opened before and taped shut to look new. Overall Rating

Ebay is a great community of buyers and sellers. By far the largest in the world. My problem with them is how they trat us all. For example, they never let you remove bad feedback even if its obvious that the ebayer did it to ruin someones feedback. Well, ebay, that is what I am doing to you. Now you see how it feels Overall Rating
